About the Event

Unpacking the Changes to the Children’s Services Award – Services not receiving the WRP

Not receiving the Worker Retention Payment but looking at the best way to implement the Children’s Services Award changes?

This free online session is designed for OSHC providers who want an understanding of the changes arising from the gender-based undervaluation decision of 10 December 2025, and how wage increases will impact them from 1 March 2026.

We will unpack what’s changing from 1 March 2026 and consider strategies to help offset the financial impact.

This session will cover:

  • A clear explanation of the new Children’s Services Award classifications and pay increases

  • What the changes mean for providers not eligible for the WRP

  • Options to help offset increased employment costs

  • Templates and resources to support clear communication with employees about the changes and their implications

  • Tools and considerations to support informed decision-making and sustainability

  • It's not too late to apply for the WRP, are you eligible and how to go about it?
