About the Event

We need to hear from you.

The Gender Undervaluation decision was a landmark moment for our sector — but for many senior leaders, the outcome has fallen short of what was promised.

If you are employed under the Children's Services Award at what were previously classified as Levels 6.4–6.9 (now transitioning to Level 8), you may have noticed something troubling: the wage increases delivered through the Gender Undervaluation proceedings have not been applied equitably to your classification. While the intent of the decision was to address systemic undervaluation of a feminised workforce, senior leaders at these levels appear to have been left behind.

NOSHSA is committed to ensuring that every leader in the OSHC sector receives fair recognition — in status, responsibility, and pay.

We are convening a dedicated discussion and consultation session to:

• Hear directly from senior leaders about the impact of this outcome

• Explore the options available to address the gap

• Shape NOSHSA's advocacy and proposed solutions

Your voice matters. This conversation will directly inform how we advocate on your behalf — to the Fair Work Commission, to government, and across the national stage.

This is your sector. This is your profession. Let's make sure your leadership is valued accordingly.

The National Outside School Hours Services Alliance (NOSHSA) acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to culture, land, waterways and communities.  We pay our respects to them and their cultures, and to the elders both past and present.
