About the Event
NOSHSA invites SA OSHC leaders and educators to participate in our 2026 round of Action Research Projects, beginning March 2026. This information session, being held following the OSHC Workforce Solutions Forum, will provide you with an overview of the project and the level of commitment required.
The Action Research project aims to enhance practice through enabling participating services to engage in a process of critical reflection with the purpose of producing examples of best practice, new ideas and deeper knowledge of their environments. This is a unique form of professional development that allows time and space to focus on “your work” not “more work” in a rich collaborative environment.
Participants will be supported in their project by a NOSHSA representative and participate in regular online discussion forums with that representative and other participating educators.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their research in person and through publication.
Experience has shown that two people working together can enhance the program experience as well as individual project outcomes and so expressions of interest from pairs of educators who would like to explore a particular issue together will be considered as highly desirable. Do you have an idea you would like to pursue?
Five SA OSHC services successfully undertook action research projects in 2025, presenting their projects at the OSHC conference in November last year.
A light lunch is provided for those people who RSVP to attend the information session.
Please register separately if you are coming to the Workforce Solutions Forum beforehand!
