About the Event

Successful leadership practices in OSHC include establishing clear direction and vision. Trying to implement change and quality improvement can be exhausting and overwhelming. You don’t have to do it all at once – be systematic and strategic! Collectively as a team, build a vision, bring everyone on board, to work towards it. Learn a repeatable process you can undertake annually to bring your vision alive, systematically implement improvement and bring everyone along for the ride! Grow your staff culture and help retain educators.

The session will cover:

o   A comprehensive, easy to implement strategic planning process, bringing your staff team together on the same page and get buy-in from educators.

o   Foster positive team culture and enhance educator wellbeing.

o   What is your vision? Develop vision and mission statements for your service.

o   Create a great OSHC environment, not only for children, but also for educators.

o   Make your strategic plan of continuous improvement visible to the provider, the regulator, families, children and educators.

o   Document improvements in your QIP
