About the Event

This session was developed by NOSHSA as part of the Embedding Inclusive Practices project in 2023. Coupled with an educator workbook, this session will provide deeper understanding of complex behaviour and practical strategies for managing children’s behaviour and promoting inclusive practice.


The session will cover:

o   Perceptions of Behaviour and Inappropriate Discipline

o   Emotional Regulation

o   Behaviour and The Brain

o   Responding to Escalated Behaviour

o   Conflict Resolution

·       OSHC educators

·       Directors and coordinators

·       Educational leaders

·       Staff supporting children with additional emotional or behavioural needs
