Making learning visible, meaningful and compliant

This practical professional learning session unpacks what “programming” really means in an OSHC context — beyond templates and myths.

Designed specifically for OSHC educators and leaders, this session builds confidence, clarity and shared language around quality practice.


The session will cover:

o   NQF Requirements

o   Common programming myths (and why they persist)

o   Recognising OSHC’s educational value

o   Key theories that support OSHC programming

o   The learning cycle and critical reflection

o   Individual vs group programming

o   Documenting and Promoting children’s learning to families, schools and assessors

o   Articulating practice— especially during Q&A and assessment

o   Hear from 2–3 OSHC services share their approach to programming
