This session is designed for providers who are already receiving the Worker Retention Payment (WRP).

ALL providers who received funding in the 2025-26 financial year need to complete an Annual Declaration which is due on 9^th October 2026.

 The PMC for your service/s may have already received correspondence saying the WRP Annual Declaration is now available in your Smarty Grants Portal. Completing the Annual Declaration is a key requirement for providers participating in the ECEC Worker Retention Payment program. In this session, we'll guide you through what needs to be reported to the Australian Government, explain the reporting requirements, and show you how to accurately calculate and complete the required figures with confidence.

Our session will also briefly cover:

1. A walk through of the Annual Declaration questions step by step

2. Information required and where to find it

3. Anomalies to look out for and common errors to avoid

4. What to do if you have a deficit or a surplus

5. Methods to distribute the surplus to employees
